Welcome to Ball Charter Virtual Academy (BCVA). We provide a personalized education to all students emphasizing comprehensive academic excellence through partnering parents, students and staff. We offer a well-rounded academic program which highlights literacy and a standards-based approach to education. We look forward to the opportunity to offer our students an exciting, rigorous, and enjoyable set of educational life experiences. BCVA provides families who wish to educate in a virtual classroom setting with an education that is tuition-free, rigorous and backed with a long history of educational excellence, over 23 years!

Our goals of high parent satisfaction and increasing student performance are at the heart of our mission. Our desire is to partner with parents in the pursuit of excellence for all students. We are committed to building personal relationships with both students and parents to help them develop their own love for learning. Serving families throughout Arizona, Ball Charter Virtual Academy balances digital resources, hands-on components, the arts, and proven curriculum such as: Envision Math & Elevate Science. Created in a unique and adaptive program designed to meet the needs of our students as we prepare them to become tomorrow’s leaders.

If your child is enthusiastic and motivated about learning, has the support to be educated virtually, lives in Arizona, and is prepared for a rigorous and independent learning experience, we are accepting new students enrollments for the 2021-2022 school year for 5th through 8th Grade.

Ball Charter Virtual Academy uses a synchronous and asynchronous approach to learning.

We are proud to offer the same rigorous curriculum as our physical campuses, but in a virtual setting.

Weekly assignments and grades will be provided through our educational platform, Schoology. We will provide families with a suggested weekly schedule to ensure their academic success.

At this age, scholars should be able to do many of the assignments with some guidance from the parents. The parental involvement at this stage is moderate to light, depending on the scholar.
