Val Vista Academy is pleased to announce that it will be participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) beginning in the 2025–2026 school year. This important step reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to supporting the health and well-being of all students.
By joining the NSLP, Val Vista Academy will offer nutritious, federally subsidized meals to students each school day, ensuring access to balanced and affordable food options that meet federal nutrition standards.
“We’re excited to bring the benefits of the National School Lunch Program to our school community,” said Ms. Debbie Baca, Principal of Val Vista Academy. “This program not only supports student health, but also helps create a stronger foundation for learning.” Participating in the NSLP means:
All students will continue to have access to balanced, nutritious meals
Reduced or free meal options for qualifying families
Grab-and-go breakfast will now be available
More information, including details on eligibility for free or reduced-price meals, will be shared with families ahead of the upcoming school year.
